Designed by Philippe Starck, the Madame armchair is covered with Emilio Pucci prints on the back and sides of the backrest. The abstract, multicoloured designs of five major cities take on significance as they celebrate the brand's boutiques around the world. Kartell's Madame chairs, with their strong visual impact, are intended to be placed in essential and minimalist environments to enhance the colour of the armchair and give the entire atmosphere warmth and vitality. Giving a touch of liveliness to contexts that are often neutral, such as living areas, or lacking in identity, such as a study, it can be combined with other objects while remaining absolutely original in its shape and colour. The supporting structure of the legs is made of transparent polycarbonate while the upholstered seat and backrest are made of polyurethane. Kartell proposes an innovative product such as Madame, in which the contamination between design and fashion coexists; a perfect combination to exalt our Made in Italy.
