Technology, research, experimentation and an eye on other sectors: this is the synthesis of the Research & Development Centre, the beating heart of B&B Italia, which generates the Mart armchair, the spokesperson for elegance and minimalism with an eye on the footwear sector.
Mart, designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, is fascinating for its sinuous shapes made possible by advanced technologies that allow thin thicknesses to be printed with millimetric precision, giving lines that seem to have been made by hand. The type presented is the one with a relaxing seat, wide, spacious and welcoming just like a cradle. It is supported by two structures, one of which can be rotated in the shape of a cross, and the other, which, by means of a tilting effect, can be moved manually to a more or less upright position, giving it great comfort and versatility of use.
