The floorboard supports the upholstered leather or fabric structure that houses the bed base. The Alcova bed by Maxalto can easily be placed in the middle of the room. The four vertical elements can support flaps of fabric to create intimacy or shelter from annoying insects. The bed frame is made of solid wood in various finishes, while the inner frame is made of plywood panels. The bed base included in the price is the version with an iron frame and wooden slats; there is also an all-wood version. One size of frame, different sizes of bed base and mattress.
