With the Recipio table, Maxalto renews its soul of carpentry applied to industry. The lightness of the leg supporting a top of this size adds to the complexity of the construction, while the solid wood parts define the structure frame with the play of the double slats and form different areas. The dovetail joint enhances the work of both craftsman and designer, who together give soul to these solid wood pieces. Pieces that change section and shape in the various elements that make up this table, depending on the need for use. A detail of the care with which each individual component is designed is the drawn steel support, in a bronzed nickel finish, covering the solid wood. A sort of protection against the possibility that the feet of diners might spoil the skilful workmanship, now round, now sloping, now squared.
