The backrest shell is made of moulded polyurethane foam with light padding of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat is made of seasoned beechwood with polyurethane foam and pressed felt padding and springing with elastic straps. The seat cushions are made of goose down with a stabilising polyurethane foam insert to reduce sinking without sacrificing comfort. The four feet are made of solid ash stained wenge or mocha ash. The Nivola armchair by Poltrona Frau is available with leather or Pelle Frau leather upholstery for the external shell and Pelle Frau leather or fabric upholstery for the internal part, enriched with precious visible stitching executed with contrasting thread.
