Not Riddled by Horm is a sideboard made of wood, without hinges for the doors, therefore very smooth and linear. In addition to the great manufacturing work for the doors, there is also the decoration that fills the surface of the doors. This decoration, which is the focal point of the Not Riddled sideboard, is created by laser processing.
This sideboard features diamond-shaped moulded doors that open and close without hinges. Steven Holl was able to model a sheet of wood-fabric which, thanks to small laser incisions, can be folded like origami, hugging the sides of the container. Not Riddled is the sublimation of a contemporary aesthetic and a clever application of mechanical innovation.
It is suitable for classic, but also for ethnic environments, for example in combination with important carpets and wooden furnishing objects. This furnishing accessory is conceived as a product in its own right, almost like a work of art, and therefore finds a place in almost every context of the home.
