Roberto Barbieri has been a privileged interlocutor for the Italian company Zanotta for a number of very important lustrums. He is deeply attached to this industrial reality and has designed for it with an almost exclusive dedication.
Barbieri made his first attempts as early as the mid-1990s, and almost immediately arrived at the sculptural beauty of the Orione table: an element with a wooden frame, steel rods and a glass top) like a junction of subtle signs that interlock, something that constructively seems to combine wisdom and innovation.
