The Be Bop chair owes its name to the Jazz movement characterised by very fast, rhythmic and harmonic tempos. It is an armchair that blends several expressions into a single lexicon, taking the lines of the more traditional sculpted stools of Africa mixed with the America of the golden years of design, taking up the concept of curved plywood.
The Be Bop chair, designed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, was born out of the love that the two designers have for travelling. and the desire to hybridise the wild world with Kartell's characteristic plastic material and mode. The meeting of these two worlds gives rise to objects such as the Be Bop chair: sculptural and at the same time extremely light.
