The Ciak chair by the outdoor company Emu is designed by the designer duo Stafan Diez and Christophe Pillet exclusively for the Italian brand. The request for the project was to give a new interpretation to the archetype of the director's chair, combining beauty, functionality and an important resistance to outdoor environments.
The Ciak chair from the Italian company Emu features a folding aluminium base that faithfully reproduces the original one and a seat and backrest in high-performance Emu fabric. Fabric and aluminium are, in all versions, combined for an even more striking image. The iconic chair is available in four colours in warm, soft shades ranging from taupe to bronze. Ciak is not only aesthetic perfection but also structural perfection as it is designed to support a load of up to 200kg in the narrow dimensions of 64cm wide by 82cm high.
