Sail Out by Cassina is a sofa that evokes the carefree spirit of 1950s holidays, offering a refined reinterpretation of the softness of classic inflatable canvas mattresses. Its padded bands, which are removable and inserted into individually sewn pockets, give it a soft and inviting look, perfect for relaxing outdoors.
The structure is made of tubular metal with plastic slats, designed to support the generous SoloSoff® padding: a combination of blown polyester fibre and memory foam that guarantees comfort and durability. The outdoor fabric upholstery is enriched with sartorial details, such as the grey or tone-on-tone grosgrain trim, which enhances the rounded shapes of the sofa.
To complete the system, teak panels serve as bases, armrests or backrests. Available in two heights and easily interchangeable thanks to a sophisticated interlocking mechanism inspired by car headrests, these elements can be accessorised with cushions or used as elegant support surfaces.
The Cassina Sail Out sofa offers endless composition possibilities: three seating modules – with 5, 6 or 7 bands – can be combined with tables and panels to create welcoming and convivial outdoor environments, perfect for both residential and public spaces. The collection is completed by a round pouf, available in two sizes, composed of segments converging towards a discreet central hole that allows water to drain away.
