The Piper armchair from the Italian company Roda is the brainchild of designer and art director Rodolfo Dordoni. The project aims to re-evaluate a classic, simple and essential seat that can serve an outdoor space effectively and elegantly.
The Piper armchair by Roda is reminiscent of old school chairs: it has a powder-coated aluminium frame available in Smoke (dark grey) or Rust (dark bronze) finish, the essential appearance of the seat is available in teak wood or Hirek polyurethane resin in Mole finish (Hirek polyurethane resin is a 100% Made In Italy product, fully recyclable and UV resistant, used in the creation of high quality outdoor furniture). The truly customisable part of the Piper armchair is its backrest, which is upholstered together with the armrests until it becomes a whole, an enveloping and comfortable shell. Available in a plain Batyline version or in a more sparkling version with 25mm woven straps. Both versions are available in various Roda colours.
