Designed by Marco Zito, the Philo sofa by Saba was first displayed at the 2019 Milan Furniture Fair and was selected by Arredativo as one of 2020's Must Haves. This seat strikes us for its minimalist essence and its modest yet welcoming design that can perfectly match any type of decor, from classic ones to modern ones.
This sofa is inspired by the concept of Philo, the Greek word referring to love, propensity and empathy. These three ideas well explain the Philo sofa by Saba, which is modern, graceful, and characterized by a lightweight and inviting structure. The agile dimensions of this model fit the most diverse spaces: the house, public spaces and places of meeting and hospitality in general.
The Philo sofa by Saba has a plywood structure with variable-density polyurethane foam covered with 100gr/sqm resin coupled to velveteen. The 22 mm diameter feet are in drawn wire with matte black epoxy varnish.
