The large and welcoming headboard of the Aurora Due bed by Poltrona Frau is made of solid beech wood and lightly padded, with upholstery in very soft Pelle Frau leather. The base is upholstered in polyurethane foam, with a structure in fir blockboard for the sides and in poplar plywood for the footboard. Poltrona Frau's Aurora Due bed has rear feet obtained from the extension of the headboard down to the floor, while the base is made of wood, with a black non-scratch varnish made from a single trapezoidal board that crosses the entire width of the bed. Same shape but hollowed out inside for the metal base, available in gunmetal or chrome finishes. Also available in a version with a large storage compartment accessible from the front footboard thanks to a gas-spring device.
