The Bluemoon bed by Poltrona Frau has a solid poplar and beech headboard structure, padded with differentiated density polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The base is made of fir blockboard for the sides and poplar plywood for the footboard, with light padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The feet are cylindrical, made of black painted aluminium. Poltrona Frau's Bluemoon bed is also available in a version with a capacious storage compartment accessible from the front footboard thanks to a gas spring device.
The leather upholstery is embellished, on the headboard, by a modern capitonné made with delicate stitching that traces large diamond patterns. The upper part of the headboard ends with a small scroll that recalls the classic Poltrona Frau armrest.
