Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2018, the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet by Poltrona Frau was born as an ideal piece of furniture to house a television and stereo system. Today, in its home-cinema evolution, it is enriched with a new functionality thanks to the collaboration with the historic company Leica, resulting in an extremely versatile design cabinet capable of offering an exclusive cinema experience right at home.
Equipped with an integrated screen for total immersion in the world of home cinema, the Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet combines elegance and technology. Its supporting structure is made of solid ash and birch plywood veneered in ash, while the interior is finished in extra-clear maple. The top of the cabinet cleverly conceals an integrated projection screen, consisting of a motorised, vertically rising screen. In addition, the cabinet houses two side drawers and a central compartment designed to accommodate the Leica Cine 1 100" smart laser TV high definition projector. Although compatible with different projector models, Poltrona Frau studied the design of the Fidelio specifically to integrate it perfectly with Leica technology.
