The base, a distinctive element of the design, combines external sections in Canaletta walnut with an internal structure in grey-stained ash, echoing the soft shapes of the Pebble sideboard, designed by the same designer. The round model rests on a central base with a square section and delicately rounded corners. The oval version is supported by two bases close together, while the rectangular version stands out for its two bases, well spaced apart, designed to ensure stability and proportion.
