Rimadesio's original Daimon sliding door is made from a glass structure (grey, bronze, transparent or extra-clear transparent) which is then covered by a thick aluminium grid (brown or black) that decorates the entire surface of the door.
Rimadesio's Daimon is certainly innovative, but at the same time its design is reminiscent of a classic and ancient element: the Japanese partition.
This door can be used to clearly divide two different rooms, but it can also be used simply as a distinctive piece of furniture.
For example, it could be positioned between a kitchen and a dining room, rooms that are closely connected and perhaps furnished in the same style. In this case Rimadesio's Daimon acts as a divider without creating a marked separation as a normal door would.
The effect created by the design of Rimadesio's Daimon door is certainly peculiar: a continuous contrast between light and shadow, light and dark, vertical and horizontal lines; all this gives an exclusive and unique air to the whole environment in which the door is placed.
