The workmanship gives the tube a strongly distinctive sign, a letter R, which can be seen in the joint between the seat and the backrest. All structural welds are made using Mig technology, which provides greater resistance to stress and reduces the risk of rusting, while the steel rod mesh is electro-welded to the structure for greater precision.
As with all EMU steel products, there is a cataphoresis pre-treatment followed by a thermosetting powder coating treatment, which gives the product a homogeneous layer of paint with a high degree of adhesion and strength. The presence of nylon insoles supports ease of movement and protection of the ends of the product.
