The Rituals ceiling lamps by the Italian company Foscarini are the result of a collaboration with the designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, who have been working in their Milan studio since 1994. It is interesting to see the particular, almost spiritual approach to light of this well-established design studio in the field of industrial design.
Rituals da sfoffitto sees the confrontation and fusion of two cultures and two materials: East meets West and rice paper meets blown glass. Foscarini's Rituals is reminiscent of an ancient oriental lantern made of rice paper which, during certain ceremonies or rituals, was left to fly in the sky, carrying with it the dreams or good wishes of those who had released it, entrusting them to someone or something superior. Foscarini's lamp is made of blown glass to which special workmanship is subsequently added to give it the typical pinstripe effect.
Rituals is only available in white, the only colour that does not spoil the ethereal appearance of this object. It lends itself perfectly to all types of environments and styles without any particular difficulty. Rituals will create the right atmosphere for living, contract and office spaces by making small adjustments to the design.
