An innovative material for an up-to-date chair. Steps was created in 2008 by designer Monica Graffeo for the Italian company Lago.
The famous Steps chair was created by combining two poor, environmentally friendly materials: aluminium and industrial felt. The metal draws the structure and the body of the chair, which is then covered with strips of industrial felt, juxtaposed to give life to the entire shell. Both materials were chosen in shades of graphite to give depth and character to the Steps chair.
A contemporary image inspired by our time, a design element that can reflect us fully. Steps is perfect for living areas such as dining rooms or kitchens but will also add character to more serious areas such as offices and meeting rooms. The original Steps felt chair is also available in a stool version with a low back.
