Beauty made into a table, this is the new collection by Maxalto, where disarming simplicity meets lightness and refinement in the elements and in the way they are designed and assembled together.
The trestle shape of the die-cast aluminium structure that supports the top has a rectangular section that is slightly bent first inwards and then outwards and is joined, in the rectangular table, to a crosspiece and, in the round version, to a ring that hold this structure together. It supports the top, where the craftsmanship of the woodwork is exalted in the joining of the wood grain, forming unmistakable patterns of the company's know-how.
Astrum is presented here in the most precious version with a fumigated wood top and central insert in black Marquinia marble, giving further refinement to those who want not a table but a high work of cabinet-making and design.
