Tadao by Flou is a double and single bed, designed by Vico Magistretti in 1993 and still very up-to-date after 25 years thanks to its clean lines.
It has a strong oriental inspiration thanks to the transversal staves that make up the whole bed, giving shape to the headboard and the sleeping surface. In fact, the mattress rests directly on the wide horizontal staves held together by a painted iron structure finished with a ribbon that runs around the perimeter, allowing a glimpse of the structure's sequence. When raised 23 cm off the ground, it is very light and practical for cleaning and is supported by 2 feet on the bottom and 2 swivel castors designed specifically for Tadao by Flou. Quality finishing details are essentially included in this bed, which is a favourite with discerning customers. The 215 cm length accommodates a 200 cm mattress and in 3 widths 140/160/190 in the double version and 120 in the single version.
Tadao is produced in wood in the Canaletto walnut version in natural or traditional finish, in coffee oak. It is also available in the scratch-resistant finish Style in sand colour, Epoque in white and grey and coffee and Canaletto oak. Also new are the Private light and Private dark finishes. This makes it easy to set it in any context, whether in continuity with the minimalist style of your room or in contrast within a more classic environment.
