The Tite collection of pendant lamps from the Italian company Foscarini was designed by Marc Sadler who used the composition of a golf club to create these wonderful objects. Their incredible beauty did not take long to be recognised: in 2001, in fact, they received the "Compasso d'oro" award, the oldest and most prestigious industrial design award in the world, created to enhance and reward the quality of Italian design.
Foscarini Italia's Tite lamps are made of glass fabric and black carbon thread while the support is made of brushed stainless steel. With a maximum height of 195cm and a diameter of between 13cm and 21cm, the Tite pendant lamps are strong, statuesque works of art of remarkable beauty and hypnotic charm, vaguely reminiscent of tribal statuary art.
Tite lamps by Foscarini Italia are for the buyer who understands the importance of light and illumination within a space designed and felt in a certain way. Tite lamps are for those who want an object in their space that is on the borderline between a lamp and a work of art. Light is the strongest modelling tool given to man to modify a space.
