Inspired by the rhythmic “ribbon” motif of Italian bar counters from the 1940s, the design features a continuous, dynamic surface that evokes the columns of ancient architecture, reinterpreting them in a contemporary key.
A distinctive feature of the design is the round base in grooved teak wood, which gives the table a strong sculptural and contemporary character while minimizing waste of this precious material. Otto is available with a round top supported by a central column or with a rectangular top supported by two substantial columns, designed to support the generous dimensions of the top even in the bar version.
