The Lumiere table lamp by the Italian company Foscarini was born from the collaboration with Rodolfo Dordoni in the 1990s, when it immediately became a best seller of the company. It recently has been renewed by changing only a few details, demonstrating the surprising relevance of one of Foscarini's signature pieces, because objects that are not affected by time and fashions really exist. In 2020, Lumiere 30th was born to celebrate 30 years of this wonderful lamp.
The Lumiere lamp features a direct, soft light and a mouth-blown, flashed glass diffuser in Bulles or Pastilles finishes. The base consists of a tripod made of hand-finished and polished die-cast aluminum in the champagne painted brushed aluminum version, with scratch-resistant silicone feet.
