The sinuous lines of the Arabesque armchair by Poltrona Frau have the same natural tension as a dancer's body. With this project, designer Kensaku Oshiro achieves a fluid balance and a supple grace that arise from complex workmanship, for a result of pure beauty.
Materials and construction details are calibrated for maximum ergonomic performance. The high version of the Arabesque armchair by Poltrona Frau is complete with headrest, made of rigid polyurethane and moulded polyurethane foam padding. The backrest and seat structure is made of moulded rigid polyurethane, with metal insert and polyurethane foam padding. The cushions are made of thermoformed ABS with applied polyurethane foam padding. Tubular metal with gunmetal or burnished shot-blasted finish for the armrests: the point where the elbows rest is lightly padded with polyurethane foam and covered with hand-stitched leather.
Thin cushions layered like flower petals give high comfort to the seat, while simultaneously acting as a structure. The result is a compact, dry aesthetic with a vital dynamism. In the Arabesque armchair by Poltrona Frau everything is designed to welcome. Available in versions with or without headrest, you can choose and configure it to suit your needs and furnishing tastes.
