French designer Jean-Marie Massaud adds an extra touch of comfort to Poltrona Frau's Archibald collection: the Archibald Gran Comfort armchair. The central element is the large, soft seat cushion. A luxurious leather casing with rich goose feather padding creates a refined contrast with the essential architectural cut of the steel frame that houses it.
The seat of the Archibald Gran Comfort armchair by Poltrona Frau, made of beech wood, has springing obtained with elastic belts. These return, as an additional element of comfort, along the perimeter of the steel-framed backrest. The upholstery for the seat and backrest, in channelled goose down, enhances the softness of this magnificent armchair. The removable cover is made of Pelle Frau Safari leather. The perimeter profiles of the upholstery are embellished by the raw cut of the leather, hand-painted and finished with tone-on-tone or contrasting stitching. Base and feet (very thin and light) in steel have a Ruthenium finish. The soft pouf is the natural complement to the armchair.
