The Olaf armchair, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Baxter, is a reinterpretation of an ethnic-inspired product inspired by African art. With its sculptural shapes and ironic touch, this armchair invites you to relax thanks to its leather seat and backrest that extend to become armrests. The solid legs, reminiscent of elephant feet, lend stability and character.
The colour of this leather is a shade between blue and purple, reminiscent of the sky at sunset. This deep, sophisticated colour changes hue depending on the light, ranging from dark blue with purple reflections to slate grey-black. A touch of mysterious elegance that lends itself to sophisticated combinations.
Made from whole pieces of full-grain leather, the Olaf armchair boasts chrome tanning and pure aniline dyeing, giving it a natural glossy appearance. This process allows the leather to be used outdoors, maintaining its beauty over time.
The polyurethane foam padding with differentiated density is covered in acrylic fibre to ensure comfort and durability.
The structure is made of solid ash wood stained wenge, while the seat and backrest are made of birch plywood, materials chosen for their strength and longevity.
The adjustable feet allow the armchair to be adapted to different floor types, while the decorative trim in the same shade as the leather adds an extra touch of class.
The Olaf armchair is not only a functional piece of furniture but also a work of art that enriches any environment with its distinctive presence.
