Luceplan

Luceplan was born in 1978 by the will of three architects – Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto, and Sandro Severi – who decided to launch a company out of the experience in the lighting sector acquired through the collaboration with Gino Sarfatti, the founder of Arteluce. Luceplan is a lighting systems company aiming to create handsome products for a wide public, or rather to bring mass production to high aesthetic standards. The ongoing research conducted by Luceplan begins with the careful selection of its partners, achieved by picking designers who are eclectic, versatile, innovative, complementary. Together with the brand, they have created excellent designs that have been awarded more than 30 times over the years, receiving the prestigious Compasso d’Oro, European Community Design Prize, GoodDesign Chicago, Red Dot Design Award, and Design Plus Frankfurt awards. Luceplan also boasts the exhibition of some of its pieces in the permanent Architecture and Design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Moreover, the company closely collaborates with first-class institutions, providing light to the offices in the New York Times Building and to the headquarters of Microsoft Italia, to name a few. Luceplan honors Made in Italy design by cooperating with major buildings all around the world, promoting Italian furniture design and keeping its tradition alive. In the Luceplan catalog available on the Mondini Arredamenti website you will find table, floor, wall, ceiling, and suspension lamps. Discover the ongoing technological, acoustic, and environmental research carried out by the company with us: you will not be disappointed.
