The Cassina 10 Bureau La Semaine à Paris desk was created as part of a collective project designed for the editorial offices of the famous Parisian weekly magazine. It was designed by a group of leading figures in the Modern Movement, many of whom were members of the Union des Artistes Modernes (UAM), founded in 1929. For the administrator's office, the table was reinterpreted by some of the most influential designers of the time, including Charlotte Perriand, whose design was revived and enhanced by Cassina.
The desk retains its thick glass top, supported by a painted structure and embellished with the characteristic milled pencil holder, faithful to the original model. The sheet metal drawer unit, which helps to support the top, incorporates a technical compartment with provision for electrification and an easily accessible side USB port, designed to meet contemporary needs.
The contrast between the transparent glass and the matt sheet metal, together with the polished chrome tubular steel legs, gives the desk a sober elegance and a strong visual presence. Perfect for representative offices and private studies, the Cassina 10 Bureau La Semaine à Paris desk is an iconic piece of furniture that combines luxury, functionality and modernity, adapting stylishly to the dynamics of everyday work.
