The first version featured a tubular metal frame combined with a woven cane seat. In 1929, the design was presented at the Équipement intérieur d'une Habitation exhibition at the Salon d'Automne, where it was reinterpreted for the salle de bain with a sponge seat, more suitable for spaces dedicated to personal care.
The current model retains the simplicity of the original design, updating it with a trivalent chrome-plated steel frame and refined upholstery: fabric, sponge, leather or traditional cane. The rectangular seat, suspended on the slender frame, conveys a feeling of lightness and versatility.
