Designed by Mario Bellini, the Cassina Cab 410 stool is the world's first leather stool with a self-supporting structure, inspired by the direct relationship between skeleton and skin. A masterpiece of ingenuity and tailoring, it combines formal research and craftsmanship in a timeless cult object.
Available in two heights to meet different furnishing needs, Cab 410 stands out for its four slender legs, slightly concave seat and low backrest, designed to offer maximum comfort and support. At the heart of the design is the leather upholstery, composed of 21 individually cut pieces, subjected to 22 manual processes. Each element is trimmed to reduce its thickness, sewn with precision and finally fitted onto the steel structure, closed with zips that enhance its sartorial character.
The colour palette includes a wide range of colours, with pigmented leather variants in black, brown and Bulgarian red, designed to suit different aesthetic contexts, from residential to contract.
With its essential yet innovative shape, the Cassina Cab 410 stool elegantly complements bar and hotel counters, islands and peninsulas in modern kitchens, or any environment that requires refined, functional seating with a strong visual impact. A design icon that conveys, through every detail, Bellini's pioneering vision and Cassina's manufacturing excellence.
