Characterised by bright colours and a strong artistic imprint, the Cassina Balla screen brings to life an original design by Giacomo Balla, a leading figure in the Futurist movement. Designed to divide and enrich domestic spaces with visual energy and chromatic dynamism, the screen is inspired by a sketch on paper created by the artist using tempera and pencil, now faithfully and skilfully reinterpreted.
The structure consists of three hollow-core wooden panels of different sizes, joined by satin-finish brass hinges specially developed by Cassina to respect the original design. The hinges can be adjusted in both directions, allowing for flexible and customisable configuration. The screen-printed decoration on both sides is available in two colour variations, both faithful to Balla's sketch: one with an orange background and yellow and green motifs, the other with a white background and blue and green details.
The Cassina Balla screen fits naturally and elegantly into different environments, from the living room to the private study, creating intimate corners or distinct areas with an artistic and scenographic touch. Combining several elements amplifies the visual effect, transforming the screen into a decorative wall that enriches the space with expressive power and style.
