The Cassina Constantin side table is much more than a piece of furniture: it is a domestic sculpture, part of the Ultramobile collection, designed by Studio Simon as a tribute to the visionary work of Constantin Brancusi. Inspired by the formal universe of the Romanian sculptor, the design incorporates two elements that can be reproduced in series, harmonised in a composition that conveys a refined sense of movement and continuity.
The base, in solid oak with a wax finish, has a solid, sculptural character. It consists of two overlapping semi-cylinders and a central cylinder, arranged in vertical balance to support the upper top. The latter, light and suspended, is raised by small brass pins that enhance its circular shape. The top is made of satin-finish brass sheet with a brushed surface that reflects light with discreet elegance.
Designed to accompany sofas and armchairs in sophisticated settings, the Cassina Constantin side table stands out as a functional side table with artisanal charm and a strong sculptural impact. Its design, characterised by rhythm and fluidity, enriches the space like a discreet but precious jewel.
