The Cassina Fluid Joinery side table, designed by Linde Freya Tangelder, is the result of experimentation with free forms that blend glass and colour in a monolithic object with a strong visual impact. Halfway between craftsmanship and industry, the Dutch designer explores colours through gradients of intensity, overlapping layers to achieve vibrant or more delicate effects, where transparency becomes pure and luminous.
The curved, organic shapes, sculpted with generous thicknesses and bold overhangs, give the table a unique and precious character. The lines engraved on the top, which extend along the vertical surfaces, tell the story of the encounter between several elements, like traces of a creative process that generates uniqueness. Entirely made of coloured blown glass, the side table takes shape through successive layers of transparent and coloured glass. The manual processing preserves small irregularities and inconsistencies that enhance its authenticity and craftsmanship.
Compact and versatile, the Cassina Fluid Joinery side table is designed to be used individually or in multiple compositions, adapting elegantly to any domestic environment. Available in different shades, it fits into the living room like a contemporary sculpture capable of embellishing the space while offering a functional surface for books and small decorative objects.
