The Soft Corners Side Table by Cassina marks the debut of Dutch designer Linde Freya Tangelder in the Cassina collection, bringing with it an industrial and sculptural aesthetic that stands out for its formal rigour and functionality. Designed for modern interiors, this side table is characterised by minimal lines and bold volumes, capable of interacting with both residential and contract environments.
Made of stainless steel, it consists of three volumes assembled with precision craftsmanship to conceal the joints and enhance the purity of the forms. The design echoes the curvilinear profile of the poufs in the same collection, playing with solids and voids to create a dynamic and sophisticated visual balance. It is available in two finishes: antique and burnished stainless steel or painted steel, to suit different styles and colour palettes.
With its open and functional shapes, the Soft Corners Side Table by Cassina offers multiple interpretations of use: in addition to serving as a support surface, it can hold magazines and objects inside, becoming a discreet and versatile container. Perfectly coordinated with the upholstered furniture in the collection, both in terms of aesthetics and function, it can be stacked on top of one of the three pouf models, creating customised compositions with a refined contrast between warm and cool materials.
