Catifa up, is a chair produced by a company with great aesthetic taste like Arper, even if defining it simply as a chair is reductive: we could in fact define it as an essential complement to characterise environments such as the home, the office, a common environment such as a library, conference rooms and to personalise the hall of a restaurant.
Talking about the technical characteristics of this piece of furniture, we can say that it is a seat with a very minimalist design. It is presented here in the upholstered version, with a choice of fabric (available in various materials and compositions, from cotton to technical fabric, from velvet to wool), faux leather, leather and hide.
The revolving trestle on which the shell rests can have 4 or 5 spokes: a support element that today, even more than in the past, becomes a real aesthetic detail.
Optional extras for this chair are the possibility of fitting an armrest, a gas pump for raising and better adjustment of the seat, a writing tablet, various hooking systems, and a possible under-seat basket and trolley for stacking.
Catifa Up derives from the Arper chair series of the same name, and is inspired by model 53, a number that identifies the total width of the seat in centimetres.
