Italian designer Roberto Lazzeroni designed the Diva chair for Poltrona Frau, as a natural evolution of the Vittoria series. The inspiration comes from aesthetic elements that are deeply linked to the history of Poltrona Frau and immediately recognisable. The scroll at the end of the backrest is a stylised reference to the classics. The folds at the corners of the seat, as well as the hand-tied biconical springs for springing, come from a long tradition of the house. In the Diva chair by Poltrona Frau, the frame of the seat and backrest are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, with a birch plywood frame. The shell is made of moulded rigid polyurethane while the base and supports are made of solid ash wood stained wenge or moka. Sinuous armrests blossom naturally from the shell, creating a cosy seat designed to offer new sensations of comfort. The upholstery of the Diva chair by Poltrona Frau is available in the prestigious Pelle Frau leather or fabric version.
