The Venus bookcase by Italian company Driade was designed by Fabio Novembre and is a fantastic reproduction of Canova's Venus. The designer was inspired by the wooden crates used by museums to transport works of art and captured the scene of the opening of this crate containing one of the world's most fascinating sculptures. Canova froze an image of Venus, caught in intimacy, trying to cover herself with a sheet. Fabio Novembre has kept the same idea, but with an innovative and unique implementation. In this case, the statue of Venus is covered both by a veil and by the five shelves of the shelf, exactly at the most secret points of her interior. The Venus bookcase by the Italian company Driade is made of sawn-effect natural oak with solid wood supports. The sculpture was made of recomposed marble.
