Poltrona Frau's Fumoir armchair is characterised by the absence of a cushion on top of the seat and by the marked reduction in volume that makes it, today as then, very agile and transversal in use. Equipped with brass front wheels, this armchair is characterised by the lozenge stitching of the backrest and the leather-covered buttons that trim the back and sides. The supporting structure is made of seasoned beechwood, while the springing of the seat is obtained with biconic steel springs tied by hand and resting on jute belts. The padding is made of rubberised horsehair. The upholstery is available in two versions, Frau leather or fabric.
