The Lina armchair by Tacchini is the re-edition of the icon of Italian design designed by Giancarlo Frattini. Nominated in 1955 for the Compasso d'Oro, Lina maintains the same innovative characteristics of the time by reinterpreting them in a modern key.
The visible structure in ash plywood gives the armchair a handcrafted look, solid yet visually light. The slender legs join the curved element that supports the side of the backrest and at the same time becomes the support wing of the armrests. At the time it was a very original process and is still carried out with particular attention today. The padding in polyurethane foam of different densities, covered in fabric or leather, gives an ergonomic and comfortable seat.
