Poltrona Frau's Albero bookcase has a solid walnut Canaletto wood support structure, and is composed of two toothed pillars, with a special rack and pinion joint, and four vertical uprights with a regular hole pattern that allows eight or twelve shelves to be mounted at will. The latter are made of medium-density wood fibre veneered in essence. The ceiling and ground spikes are mounted at the ends of the toothed pylons. The fixing of the bookcase is ensured by the action of four metal rings provided in the fixing brackets. In addition, this piece of furniture is rotatable through 360°.
