Starting from his iconic Archibald seat, Jean-Marie Massaud has designed a new masterpiece for Poltrona Frau: Archibald Large Dining Chair, a chair of impeccable elegance, with a wider seat and higher back than the original model.
With its sculpted, contemporary character, the dining chair is enriched by sartorial details, such as the refined folds on the inside of the leather-covered backrest and the hint of an armrest, which recalls the lapel of a slightly open shirt. Contrasting stitching discreetly enhances the sinuous curves.
The shell and armrests, made of moulded rigid polyurethane, accommodate a soft padding of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat, with a birch plywood frame, guarantees strength and durability, while the elastic springing ensures optimal comfort. The base, with four legs, is in painted metal in burnished or titanium finishes. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau leather with contrasting stitching or in fabric, to suit any furnishing style.
With a sleeker, more casual allure, the Poltrona Frau Archibald Large Dining Chair retains all the comfort of the collection, proving eclectic and perfect for contemporary settings and more classic settings.
