Designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1972, the Cassina Orseolo table is much more than a piece of modern furniture: it is an absolute masterpiece, an unsurpassed model of formal beauty born from a bold and refined architectural vision. Essential in its lines and sophisticated in its details, Orseolo adapts with natural elegance to both contemporary and traditional contexts, offering functionality and style in perfect balance.
Made with MDF panels covered with a thick layer of polyester lacquer, available in a mirror-gloss or matt finish, the table is the result of meticulous workmanship: the lacquer is hot-poured, brushed and then polished with specialised machinery, giving the surface a visual and tactile quality of the highest level.
The geometric panels, with their essential design, are joined by satin-finish aluminium cast joints, which are true structural hinges that perform a dual function: aesthetic and technical. These elements, placed at the points of maximum stress, ensure the stability of the table and preserve the perfection of the lacquered finish over time.
With its generous dimensions, the Cassina Orseolo table becomes the centrepiece of the dining room, offering a welcoming and refined convivial space. In any setting, whether modern or more classic in style, it reflects the extraordinary ingenuity of its creator, leaving a mark of timeless beauty.
