The Harbor chairs are the continuation of the work on the sculpture of polyurethane foam as a mass, the DNA of B&B Italia, which Naoto Fukasawa, interpreting the strength of the company, began with Papilio. "I wanted to create a shape in this material as if I were sculpting a block of Carrara marble" B&B Italia's requirement was to experiment with seating with armrests derived from an inverted truncated cone. The result is two seats, one high-backed relaxation chair and one low-backed reading/conversation chair, both of which rest on a circular swivel frame with a visible hinge for easy removal of the covers. Available in both leather and fabric, these two are joined by a pouf on which a handy tray element can be placed, which can be used separately or transforms this shape into a comfortable coffee table, multiplying its use.
