The Tacchini Orsola sofa is a 1970s design by Gastone Rinaldi, now revisited in respect of the original spirit but with state-of-the-art upholstery. Orsola combines tradition and innovation through its round shapes and the comfort it offers.
The internal frame is made of poplar plywood with solid fir crosspieces with elastic straps and the padding is in polyurethane foam in different densities. The latter is the original aspect of the upholstery that modernises it and makes it more ergonomic. The particular external visible structure, made of chrome-plated iron tube, accommodates the padding, drawing its rounded and sustained shape. This detail gives it a modern and refined look that with the padding creates a soft and relaxing sofa. The non-removable cover is a choice of fine fabrics or high quality leather, both available in various colours for extensive customisation.
