Tobi Ishi takes inspiration from oriental lines, bevelled, soft, offset, where each individual piece that makes up the product integrates perfectly to create a unique and easily recognisable design solution. It takes its name from the Japanese ornamental stones used to finish traditional Zen gardens.
Tobi Ishi by B&B Italia is designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby. Its main feature is that the two supporting legs are positioned perpendicularly, creating a visual effect, depending on the observer's point of view. In addition, the bevelled edges ensure an essential visual softness.
The Tobi Ishi B&B Italia table has an MDF top and high-density polyurethane resin legs with cast iron counterweight. It also complies with the EN15372 requirement, guaranteeing resistance, durability and safety, making it suitable for non-domestic work environments such as executive offices or desks.
Tobi Ishi is available in a round version with a diameter of 162cm or in a rectangular version of 240x114cm. Satin lacquered finishes in the whole colour range, red or blue gloss. Finally, it can be purchased with a special cement grout finish, white Carrara marble or black Marquinia marble.
