Following the sinuous lines of the P3 armchair, Gubi’s P3S chaise longue takes shape, marking the brand’s first chaise longue: a natural extension of the original design, retaining the same sculptural presence and expressive power, both indoors and outdoors. Designed in 1964 by architect and designer Tito Agnoli for the rattan masters at Bonacina 1889, the P3S embodies a rare balance between organic elegance, visual lightness and ergonomic comfort.
Crafted from hand-woven rattan strips secured to a tubular steel frame, the chaise longue represents one of the pinnacles of rattan craftsmanship. Each carefully shaped fibre enhances the material’s natural softness and vibrant texture, whilst the fluid, continuous silhouette cradles the body in a reclined and relaxed posture. Its form, almost a single gesture, invites you to let go, transforming the simple act of resting into a sensory experience.
Whether placed on its own as a sculptural piece or in pairs to create a dedicated conversation area, the Gubi P3S chaise longue elegantly furnishes the living area, yet is equally at home in more intimate spaces designed for reading, relaxation or contemplation. Its authentically handcrafted character allows it to blend naturally with modern interiors, where it introduces a warm, tactile touch, as well as with more classic settings, which highlight the purity of its lines and the quality of its materials.
