Designed in 1953, GUBI’s S-Table table is part of a cohesive collection that also includes the B-Table, the C-Chair and the Trèfle stool, all sharing a minimalist aesthetic and timeless elegance. Its simple form allows it to complement a variety of interior styles, whilst its functionality makes it ideal for hosting numerous guests in complete comfort.
Featuring tapered legs, a sturdy frame and a space-saving rectangular top, S-Table extends naturally: it lengthens by one metre, adding two extra seats at each end and thus accommodating up to ten people. The top splits in half and slides, creating the space needed for two extensions that can be stored under the table when not in use. The entire structure — including the extension mechanism — is made of solid wood and veneered in oak or walnut, maintaining an authentic, handcrafted character.
Thanks to its generous dimensions and balanced presence, the Gubi S-Table table takes its place at the centre of the dining room, becoming its visual and functional focal point.
