The Smatrik stool completes the family of chairs created by Tokujin Yoshioka. It is made with a mould that makes it possible to recreate a three-dimensional, overlapping and criss-crossed mesh in which, thanks to the special injection technology, the layers of transparent or mass-coloured polycarbonate create a single-moulded structure that simulates a metal mesh in its shape.
Smatrik chairs and stools are the result of the brand's continuous research into technological innovation applied to design. In particular, Kartell's Smatrik stool is available in both indoor and outdoor versions, so it is perfectly suited to both a living area and an outdoor area, without fear of deterioration from atmospheric agents.
The Smatrik stool is available with a transparent or mass-coloured polycarbonate shell and a painted or chromed steel and stainless steel base in the outdoor version.
